The Citadel Council of the Knights of Columbus spent five hours on Saturday, 8 March doing Community Service at Sacred Heart Church. The Knights worked together to clean out the basement of the rectory and the garage from years of old paint cans, cleaning supplies, and other debris. The Knights also helped being a landscaping project in the back yard of the rectory to replace an unused play ground area and reconfigure walk ways. Finally, the Knights helped put up a new bulletin board in the entry foyer to the church. Sacred Heart Church and Father Dennis Willey are grateful for the contribution of the Knights and look forward to their continued service in the future.
